Azienda Scacciadiavoli is one of the oldest estates in the Montefalco region. The name "Scacciadiavoli," which means "devil exorcism," dates back to an incident in the 17th century. The story tells of a girl possessed by the devil, to whom an exorcist gave the local red wine to drink, thereby driving out the devil. The great-grandfather of the current owners acquired the estate in the mid-20th century, and the 18th-century wine cellar was restored and equipped with the latest technology. Today, in the fourth generation of the Pambuffeti family, Iacopo, Amilcare, Liù, Romeo, and Fiammetta dedicate themselves to the Azienda.
