The Masseria of the Cecere-Clemente family is located on Monte Taburno, the highest mountain of the limestone massif in the Campanian Apennines. The Greeks brought the first vines to this area 3,000 years ago, and Virgil described this landscape in his Aeneid. The vineyards of the Masseria are all situated at least 380 meters above sea level, and it is this high altitude that makes the wines exceptional. The grapes ripen slowly, are harvested late, and grow on limestone and volcanic soil.

This combination gives the wines a full, elegant, and diverse taste. The Cecere family has been living here since the 16th century, and the buildings of the Masseria were constructed in the 18th century. The vineyards are carefully cultivated.
