Lush vineyards, centuries-old winemaking culture, hot summers, and mild winters, sun-kissed grapes, wines with rich and complex aromas. These are the advantages of Salento, summed up in a few words. Owner Giuseppe Gorgoni has extensive experience in the wine industry. In 2012, he fulfilled a dream and founded Azienda Corte dei Frati in Guagnano. Together with his family and oenologist Francesco Conte, he produces intensely flavored wines from the classic grape varieties of Salento, such as Negroamaro, Primitivo, and Nero di Troia.
