In a valley amidst the green hillscape of Offida, Silvano di Lorenzo discovered a place in 1990 that would signify a fresh start and the realization of a dream for him and his family.
He decided to retain the original name "San Giovanni" and also chose to preserve and restore the traditional farm buildings of the old estate. Excellent clayey soils, the proximity to the Adriatic Sea with fresh breezes in the summer and mild warmth in the winter, form the backdrop of this captivating landscape.
With great enthusiasm, a young team continues Silvano's work today. They cultivate 30 hectares with a profound respect for the natural rhythms of the vineyard and primarily plant indigenous grape varieties. Starting from the 2014 vintage, all wines produced by the estate are not only certified organic but also vegan-friendly.
